Halloween Weekend In Breckenridge

A Halloween Weekend of Nature Time, Sisterhood, & Story to Unleash the Wild Woman Within

Breckenridge, Colorado
October 30 – November 1, 2026

Three Days & Two Nights Beneath Towering Trees and Glowing Stars | An All-Inclusive Women’s Wilderness Mountain Retreat

Time:
Our group will meet in Breckenridge, Colorado on Friday at 3pm for a caravan to our cabin. Our retreats close at noon on Sunday. Late arrivals and early departures may be considered on a case by case basis.

When the nights grow long, the mountains become quiet, and the veil between worlds grows thin, the bones of wild woman begin to stir.

This Halloween weekend 2026, leave the noise of the everyday world behind and retreat into the mountains of Breckenridge, Colorado, where we are invited to slow down, gather close, and listen to the ancient wisdom of the wild.

Location in Colorado:
This Women Rising Wild retreat takes place near the town of Breckenridge. The drive from Denver is approximately 90 minutes. Denver International Airport is our closest major airport.

Nestled in a cozy mountain home surrounded by towering pines, crisp autumn air, and breathtaking alpine vistas, we will spend three days and two nights immersed in the sacred magic of sisterhood, storytelling, and the natural world.

A Weekend of Mountain Magic

Imagine waking to the cool mountain air, wrapping your hands around a warm mug of spiced tea, and watching the morning light spill across the peaks.

Our days will unfold with invigorating mountain hikes, time to wander and reflect, shared home-cooked meals, and conversations that nourish the soul.

As darkness settles over the mountains, we will gather around the fire, share stories, laugh, listen, and look upward into the vast, star-filled sky.

There will be room for both connection and solitude, for meaningful conversation and comfortable silence, for the playful spirit of Halloween, and the deeper mysteries of the season.

Skeleton Woman

At the heart of our weekend is Skeleton Woman, the hauntingly beautiful myth explored by Clarissa Pinkola Estés in Women Who Run With the Wolves.

Around the fire, we will read, unravel, and explore this ancient story of life, death, love, and transformation. Through intimate fireside circles and soulful conversations, we will consider what the bones of this myth reveal about our own lives: the courage to face what frightens us, the wisdom of allowing what has ended to rest, and the extraordinary possibility of bringing something precious back to life.

This is a retreat for book lovers, myth lovers, deep thinkers, wild-hearted women, and anyone who has ever found a piece of herself hidden inside a story.

No literary expertise is needed. Just curiosity, an open heart, and a willingness to wander into the deeper woods of your own imagination.

Come as You Are. Bring Your Wild Heart. Awaken the Dance of Your Bones.

Halloween is a season of mystery, of shadows and stories, of honoring what has passed and welcoming what longs to be born.

What better time to gather with women who understand that the journey into our own wilderness is not something we must undertake alone?

Come for the mountains. Come for the stories. Come for the comfort of a warm cabin on a cold autumn night.

Come for the women who will sit beside you as the fire burns low, who will listen to your stories, and who may remind you of something beautiful you had forgotten about yourself.
